My husband and I decided we would be committing to no-buy November, this year. We have so much planned for next year (including our honeymoon!) that it only made sense to forego the (second) most indulgent month of the year. These are 10 of the handbags that I am admiring, from afar, but would have totally considered buying for myself. They are just unbeatable finds (seriously, the perfect blend of quality and price) that I couldn’t resist sharing.
Gucci, Suede Bucket Bag
$335.75 [$395] 15% Off

I have been a huge fan of the “Western” style, lately (not sure if it is a permanent love as I was born in Dallas, to be fair) and this brown suede bucket bag from Gucci really caught my eye. It gives a mix of “Western” but modern, and the long straps are really attractive and functional. I am a bit weary of the wear, but a cute undercover everyday bag to keep an eye on!
Balenciaga, Leather Le Dix
$327 [$545] 40% Off

If you have been on the hunt for the perfect work bag upgrade, I fear this one may be too good to pass up. This beautifully worn leather bucket bag is from Balenciaga’s Spring/Summer 2014 Collection by Alexander Wang. Currently 40% off The RealReal price, this bag originally retails brand new for $2,220.
Christian Dior, Diorissimo Trotter
$337.50 [$750] 55% Off

A vintage Dior, need I say more? This is a great value for such a versatile casual bag (or maybe I am just a sucker for the print). If you have never ordered from The RealReal before, they are running a promotion where first-time users can earn a $25 credit on your first purchase with the site (potentially making this, and all the other bags I show, even better value).
Staud, Leather Messenger Bag
$221.25 [$295] 25% Off

The RealReal labeled this bag as a “Smart Investment” and I must say, I agree. I have purchased several Staud bags myself, and they continue to be some of my most used and most loved bags for their shapes and craftsmanship. The unique (almost fishbone?) design of this bag was too beautiful to not include in this list. The “Very Good” condition is an added plus.
Louis Vuitton, Monogram Vernis Wilshire
$401.25 [$535] 25% Off

If you like to buy for the current season, this beautiful patent leather bag could be the perfect winter accessory (or gift). I haven’t completely made up my mind about patent leather but this bag sways me towards an emphatic yes!
Coach, Leather Shoulder Bag
$121.50 [$135] 10% Off

I have had my eye on some narrow baguette/pencil bags for a while now. This one from Coach impressed me with its timeless design and perfect size/shape. (There is also a buckle on this bag, does that count towards the “Western” bag count in this list?)
Sezane, Raffia Shoulder Bag
$212 [$265] 20% Off

This is one of those bags that I would see in the winter and regret not buying during the spring/summer. Given the “very good” condition, I would say it is a steal for seasons to come!
Gucci, Hasler Horsebit Creole
$356 [$445] 20% Off

Beautiful dark brown leather Gucci Shoulder Bag, currently 20% off. This is the bag that would cause me to break No-Buy November (theoretically, of course). But seriously. I really love this one (including and especially the vintage pattern interior).
Prada, Cervo Leather Top Handle Bag
$276.50 [$395] 30% Off

Every day I add another “Western” purse to my loves list on The RealReal. This one has that soft patina leather look to it, just gorgeous and better with wear!
Versace, Medusa Crossbody Bag
$395.50 [$565] 30% Off

To round out the list, I wanted to include one everyday crossbody bag. This black leather crossbody from Versace is a strong contender in “Very Good” condition on The RealReal, currently 30% off.
(A Bonus Item!) Hermes, Toile Victoria 45
$1,305 [$1450] 10% Off

Because this is one that I would not actually be considering (and not under $400), I have included it as a bonus bag! I came across it while I was searching and found it so chic and elegant looking (but perfectly ready for an adventure!). This vintage Hermes Weekender Bag is one I predict will be gone soon!
